I fell in love with the creativity and art of photography. I wanted to be moved by moments in time captured through my lens.

Born and raised in a small town in Louisiana taught me to appreciate the finer things in life: family, food, and beautiful moments. When I was a young girl, I was fascinated with the idea of capturing moments that were otherwise lost. I started in grade school with disposable cameras, and my passion for “stealing time” grew every day. I fell in love with the creativity and art of photography. I wanted to be moved by moments in time captured through my lens. I wanted to make people, my muse, feel as special as they made me feel. I fell in love with the people and the moments we shared. I fell in love with buildings, history, and the stories that my camera told. I fell in love with life through my lens.

I moved to Houston, Texas, in 2018, and I can truthfully say everything is bigger and better in Texas. I love the vast culture. It’s a beautiful and exciting place, and I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the people and history here.

Some of my greatest experiences in life are when I have my camera in my hand and I’m in a new place I’ve never been before. Traveling is a transformative and enriching experience. It has taken me on a journey of exploration, discovery, and self-discovery. The essence of traveling extends beyond the physical act of moving; it encompasses a broad spectrum of experiences that contribute to personal growth, cultural understanding, and the creation of lasting memories. I wouldn’t go as far as to say I’m a travel photographer, but you can say I’m a girl with a camera and a passion for capturing beautiful keepsakes of a lifetime of memories.

“For me, the camera is a sketch book, an instrument of intuition and spontaneity.”
